Ok guys and gals next meet is 30th July at 2:00pm at the gravel patch at Thetford, also need to find who is up for the EA region stand at Gaydon, as Mandy will need to know who very quickly to organise stand passes.

Mandy,

Colin is definately ok for Gaydon with his 635CSi. Should I pm you his number so you can get details?

I'll also be at Gaydon with my car on my sponsor's stand.

Thought about perhaps meeting at the gravel patch then perhaps hijacking bury st edmunds ten pin bowling before gaydon. Don't think we'll have august thetford meet as too soon after gaydon

Yes, please PM me colins details, and I think 10 pin bowling sounds quite fun, best if we get some rough numbers and book some lanes.

Hi Scott,

I don't think mine has had any engine mods. I get conflicting stories on that part.

It has been Lowered on a Schnitzer handling kit, Not sure how low but speed bumps and I don't get along. lol. It has Schnitzer Type 1 front and rear splitters, a Schnitzer spoiler and Schnitzer Type 1 17" alloys.

Definatly have to get together at the meet.

Afraid I don't know of anyone selling any alloys at the moment. I'll keep an eye open though. What kind are you looking for?

I wouldn't worry about 169,000 miles a bit. As long as they have been looked after they will run for ever. My Misses has an A6 Audi with 182,000 miles on it and it is still going strong. Uses no oil and never lets us down (touch wood here.)

Talk to you soon,

Apologies for sounding thick, what is the "gravel patch" is it a pub or literally a gravel patch/layby?

Apologies again for my ignorance.

Cheers for the welcome by the way.

Hi Trudie,

Welcome to the "club" - it is litteraly a Gravel enlarged Lay By/come car park right by an open field, you can't miss it really, it is quite large.

Paul,

We may have to meet you guys at the bowling alley rather than come to the whole meet.

We have something on on Sunday that "should" finnish at 13.00 - but you know how these things go.

Mandy,

Did you manage to get an article done for the club mag from Snetterton and can you do me some more of those flyers as I've posted them up on peoples windscreens and some automotive accessory shops but have run out

Doesn't really sound like too many people are interested in the bowling for some reason.

How about the Norfolk Terrier off of Croxton Road for a meal or something afterwards. Foods pretty decent and it has a nice garden. I'm up for about anything though.

He He. I Have lost many a night in the Terrier. My house is just off of Woodlands drive about 2 tenths of a mile from the Terrier. It started getting bad and over run with the hoodie crowd and a little over a year ago a new landlord took over and put an end to all that. Gotta admit that the food is really good for the price and a pint of Tetley's is 1.61.

Hi Scott,

Can't beat the on those springs. Gonna look great with those alloys on. Mine has been lowered on a Schnitzer handling kit but i am not sure how much. I keep meaning to measure wheel centre to bottom of the arch on a stock 325 and then measure mine but it seems like every time i get the chance i either forget the tape measure or something comes up. lol.

If anyone does not know where the gravel patch is for the meet and wants to follow me in I can meet them at the McDonalds/Focus/Sainsbury's car park just off of the A11 in thetford and then we can all convoy in together. Just let me know and I'll PM you my mob number in case anyone gets lost or has troubles finding it.

I thought that was on this w/e not next w/e. Oh well could be a quiet one, but maybe we can get some more ideas of other things we want to get done, perhaps we can organise some sort of AGM at a pub near the end of summer which we can get put in the club mag which may entise others to come out and maybe re kick start this region. It's starting to feel like I'm thumping my head against a brick wall but we need to get something done. They managed it with the scottish region so lets try to do the same

Yeah Deffo.

Gives us plenty of time to get something in the Sept Mag.

Just need to get our buts in gear and get somewhere booked, where we can meet. Maybe a village hall, and we can make a buffet - that way, we can discuss things properly - to a captive audience.

Hiya Mc Daddy

Could you please PM me your full details, as I have just received a letter from the club, advising that they will not send "me" the stand passes.

I have to email them all the detrails of the parties attending, and then when you have bought your entrance tickets, they will then post you directly the Stand pass....!!!

That goes for Colin and Paddy too Please.

Thanks, and apologies.
