I’m always dead wary of these ‘offers’. Look at the small print. It looks as though you must use them for any repairs or the £20 doesn’t count. I think that in many cases with these offers near passes will become fails and the bills will rack up to cover the cost of the discount. I have a MOT centre that my mechanic chap uses for all his clients and the two have a very good working relationship and mutual trust – if you know what I mean.
If it wasn’t for that I am aware the local councils 'run' MOT centres where their vehicles are tested. As far as I know these must also be open to the public. As they are not able to fix failures, the theory has it, they have no vested interest in failing cars for profit. Edited by Jack735 |
