Hello everyone!

It was great to meet you all.

Very impressive driving display by some, but the main thing is that everyone of us, with our own cars and driving skills really seems to enjoy it! I did anyway.

It was my first track day with a car, did quite a few on bike before. It's pretty amazing to see how fast our car can go. When I saw the Mcoupe (the drift master of the day but with 3 or 4 very impressive drivers in the M connection!) drifting out of the last corner I was wondering why I didn't get one myself, the answer being obvious, I wouldn't be able to drive it like this (and I couldnt afford it either!)

The golf Mk1 at the end was fast as well.

The lesson of the day for me was: doesn't matter how powerful your car is, you'll have great fun on the track, so hopefully we'll have another day out in the future with even more drivers/cars!

Thanks for the organisation

Anyone got a good address for parts, I need brake pads!

Was good - took it fairly easy as I didn't want to ruin my tyres. She also developed a kind of ticking noise from the engine but it seems to have gone now.

I had the same thing too. I think it's because the oil become hot therefore more fluid so the pump strugle to keep the pressure up and the tappets don't see enough lubricant. Thickier oil at high temperature would be the answer, especially on a warm day.

Geez guys, sorry I missed this, I promised myself I'd be on the track for the next one and I'm sorry to say I neglected the forum :(

Thx Richie for the update on Friday. We had a washout in Newtownards, I take it the weather was better at Mondello?

Weather in Mondello was excellent for this time of year (especially when you consder that Mondello has its own arctic micro-climate!)

Good pace would be one way of  desribing it - -  But I think ZM's is a bit more accurate. God knows where he gets it from
