Cheers for the photos, really looking forward to my trip over in 4 weeks now.

John, it's a real shame you're not able to come mate, would be great to catch up again. Did you get your new Cups? I was told last Thursday but Michelin have pushed the date back to the 24th, starting to get nervous now since the ones that are on will NOT do 3000 miles of Alps, Tunnels, Autobahn and TWO track days.

BMW factory and museum tour was excellent. Still can't believe that factory churns out 900 3 series a day and doesn't work 24hrs Shocked

As predicted the rest of the weekend consisted of much beer halls, good craic and general messyness. I still can't remember that motorboating on Friday night though.  Cry Big smile

Munich is a fantastic city. Clean, well looked after, loads of shops and a public transport system second to none i've come accross. I'd recommend it to anyone either for a lads weekend or a break away with wife's/girlfriends etc.

The only downside of going to places like that is that you realise just how much of a third world dump the UK is when you come home. Stern Smile

Cheers, Stevie and Jim. Great weekend that i'll remember for a long time. Cool

Totally agree, thats why I go back every possible time I can

The Germans certainly gained more from the WAR imho

Some of my very amateur shots from around the Welt and the museum. Photography in the factory itself is not allowed of course.

This Heidfeld F1 was hanging on the wall hence the jaunty angle.

Bit dark but the art car in there at the moment is the E36.....which was nice
