Dates: Thurs 11 April 2013 - Sun 14 April 2013 Flight information: Outbound: Thurs EasyJet Edinburgh - Munich £65.49 Departs - 18.05 Arrive - 21.20 Inbound: Sun EasyJet Munich - Edinburgh £51.33 Departs - 21.50 Arrive - 23.15 Total flight costs at the moment are £116.82 Hotels are likely to be in the region of £150 per person based on 2 sharing a twin room for the 3 night stay. I'm now looking for names of people who definitely want to go and can commit to booking flights, I'm going to leave this open til the 14th February so I have an idea of numbers for booking hotel. Did wee search and Sleazyjet prices seem to be creeping up slightly... What's on the itinerary for the trip? Late return to Edinburgh. Dunno, Ill think and decide over the weekend. Bayern Munich are at home on the Saturday but all the ticket prices i've come across are pure comedy.

flights have nipped up by a fiver but will continue to increase as it gets nearer the time. No set itinerary as such Alan, only thing is a must is the factory visits and any other BMW related tours that can be squeezed in on the Friday. Sorry Ham, was going to suggest 'bunking up' together but I'm not going to go. I really fancy doing the tours but if it's only going to be on the Friday with the rest of the weekend consisting of 'walks' then sorry no my cuppa. I'm looking as we speak into doing a Blackpool/Aintree Grand National combo the weekend before if this doesn't come off.

Shame this wasnt planned for weekend 24th-26th May when they'll hopefully be upwards of 70 CSL there celebrating 10 since the E46 M3 CSL. All kinds of tours by BMW, Pistonheads In attendance, BMW support car and parts from Elms in Cambridge, Michelin sponsorship and still fishing for Castrol to join in. Track day at the Salzburgring in Austria afterwards and of course the mandatory 'Ring laps on the way home. Should be EPIC! Most likely yes. Just didn't want to be spending upwards of £200 for a room on my own. I need to double check when i get home that Gillian hasn't organised anything as i said to her the other week it didn't look like i'd be going.

What a weekend. 
BMW factory and museum tour was excellent. Still can't believe that factory churns out 900 3 series a day and doesn't work 24hrs
 As predicted the rest of the weekend consisted of much beer halls, good craic and general messyness. I still can't remember that motorboating on Friday night though.
 Munich is a fantastic city. Clean, well looked after, loads of shops and a public transport system second to none i've come accross. I'd recommend it to anyone either for a lads weekend or a break away with wife's/girlfriends etc.
The only downside of going to places like that is that you realise just how much of a third world dump the UK is when you come home.

I've only been to Germany once, I recon I was about 12 or 13 and my lasting memory is how clean it was. Glad you guys has a great weekend

Some of my very amateur shots from around the Welt and the museum. Photography in the factory itself is not allowed of course.
    This Heidfeld F1 was hanging on the wall hence the jaunty angle.
 Bit dark but the art car in there at the moment is the E36.....which was nice
  200bhp!!!!!
          Crap photo but this CSL in Black looked superb!
