Oooh.. thats a tough one.

can we remove the teams from this equation.. put them all in identical cars with the same setup and tyres, ban pitstops and refuelling and then see who wins.

It would be a two horse race and Senna would draw with Schumaker.

I agree with Ian. I still have that fateful race in my head, probably one of the greatest, if not THE greatest all round F1 driver in the world. That was a black weekend in F1. It was bad enough losing Ratzenburger the day before but to lose two in one weekend......

Scuey will go down in history and I have total respect of him as a driver but he has no personality. The Senna & Prost battles were 10 times better than Hill and Schumacher but Senna wasn't arrogant with it he just made it look easy and never admitted it!

It has to be Senna

schumacher was good but no personality

and hamiltons baws havent even dropped 1 season and some wins does not make you a great driver

If you can't be good don't get caught

OK, this is obviously an emotive subject, but I am only able to give you five choices, so I have deliberately offered five different nationalities across the spread of the the F1 championship since 1951

Yes ok, four were world champions, but LH should have been if McLaren hadn't -up in 2007.

Please post your own suggestions - even though that won't make the slightest difference to my poll

although I may use it later as the basis for a new one
