Brian, It started to sound a bit 'throaty for the suburbs' after a trip to
Manchester and back, the metal on the rear box has ripped like paper, i've
had to hang it up with string - how very nice that looks !

Mine is hanging on cable ties insted of the rubber grommets. Has surfived two Ring trips and two MOT's with the cable ties
Rubber mounts fall off every 3 month. Probably the price you pay for uprated suspension.....

As the rust hole in the rear box grows, it's starting to sound better and better.  especially in tunnels...

I'm kinda glad I sold mine before fitting it and stuck with a new original system. It's almost worth the money to just fit it and forget it.

True, with a similar genuine hole in the rear silencer.  looks like it's time to get the welder out again...

do you need it back while you get your fixed?

I' don't mind it being in the garden... not sure my mum agrees though.  Aparently it's an 'eyesore'.

That said, the 6 sets of alloys are more of an issue. especially the ones in the guest bedroom!

Baffles are rattling in my rear box too. Only had it since June last year!

Have to say, overall as bit dis-appointed with the system.

everyones been rating the milltek system. i dont like the way it looks or sounds.

ive got a scorpion on mine which ive had for 2 years with no issues whatsoever. so what if its loud - u should hear it in the tunnels!!

in fact, ive never had a problem with any of my scorpions on any of my cars.

i also dont like the supersprint stuff - my brothers had problems with the centre box on his e30 m3 and the decat centre section i bought for my e36 328 sport was appauling in terms of build and fitment.

scorpion all the way for my (contradictory to current opinions...)

Steve, I thought your's was a bit noiseier than I remember Kevins Cecotto being at Silverstone last year. Mine is super quiet! . I think some stern complaints should be made to Miltek, speaking to them on the phone when I ordered mine (which I never used and sold on again) they seemd very keen and friendly. I am sure they would rather sort these problems out once and for all to maintain a good reputation.
