I have mine plotted now using the raw data for corrected FWP and torque at Northampton motorsport aginst a run in August last year at Clive Atthowe's in Norwich.
Only difference is Optimax at Atthowes and Ultimate at Northampton.
Unfortunately it is in excel and I cant upload it in that format.
Help.

...considering the 'figures' i can out drag a Audi S3 up a (very long and
steep) hill from a standing start, redline every gear to 3rd and be 4-5 car
lengths in front........

Standard 215...........
but considering the smoke out of exhaust it must be a very worn 215.

Chaps, here is my dyno comparison. Evo2.
Run at Clive Atthowe in Norwich done in August 2005 on Optimax. Northampton Motorsport run on Ultimate.
Atthowe run maxxed out at 215bhp @ 7137rpm, this is 218 PS, not far off standard quoted 220PS (not BHP). Torque was 165.7 @ 5267.
NMS maxxed out at 193.4 bhp @6591, torque 169.7 lb-ft.
NMS gave better power and torque at lower rpm, but ran out of steam later. Lack of air from the dyno blower?
What you think?

Looks to me like there is more going on there, the curves are very different,
in fact they look 'offset' if look at the shape of them...???

Dave, when I spoke to Atthow about this he asked whether they used a pick up, if not the rpm would be out,so the NMS curve could be shifted across either way depending if over or under reading, so thats a possibility, even so the torque curve shape is well different.
A couple of chaps did have rpm taken off the dizzy though didn't they.

"Black smoke Uwe, means a Bexley maximum power remap does it not!!"
No,black smoke means it obviously wasn`t a max power remap from Bexley. In fact it`s running the map from prior to the last engine rebuild,so there`s a fair bit left to come we hope

My rpm's have been read out from the MAXX AN software!
And the Dyno sheet tells you the max revs achieved.
So if yours has hit the rev limiter and you know the rpm setting, than it's easy to compare.
Mine was almost spot on, only 50rpm out. So that doesn't explain why everybody was down on power.
We really need somebody telling us who knows how this Dynos are set up/matched at the day.
My car was first and I recall a conversation between Troy and the chap at the key board....."how much was it? ....220....(another run)...how much was ist now?...230...ok a little bit more than....."(while fiddling with the little box in his hands which I believe sets the LOAD of the Dyno)

It was somewhat lacking in it's transparancy. If the tempreture and barometric pressure are manuall inputted then you can have a dyno read what you like.

Just checked the MET Office. Coleshill met station (nearest to Northampton) 10am Saturday..
987mBar 13 degC
So it would appear the baro reading on the day was correct. It sure wasn't 30 degC though!

More like the dyno guys have no idea what to do. I cannot see why people get so hung up on these dyno days - a good day out to meet fellow members but to spend money on what is usually a suspect result is just not worth it.
When the figs produced are suspect because of 'silly / could not care less' errors it becomes very disheartening.
I went to a dyno a few years ago with a before and then after modiufications with runs spaced out be a few weeks. When the second run was not much better than the first the operator went back and looked at what he put in last time for various parameters.
At that point I lost faith in any dyno days when they just cram in as many cars as they can in a day.
sorry for the rant.
