I'd have loved to have joined you lads (shut up Uwe!) but it's a bit far from here to BH.

When I lived in Kent I remember finding out years ago that the infield at Paddock isn't as flat as it appears!

In my open-top, no roll-cage, Sunbeam Alpine - scary!

ahhhh, those were the days, no mortgage, no kids, ......

Cats know your every thought.

But don't care.

A great day for going to Brands. Thanks for the passenger ride Martin    I think your M3 will be a lot faster once you have fitted the 3 cylinder Diahatsu lump   It was nice to put faces to names and meet some of the forum members. I now realise i need deeper pockets to keep up

E30 M3's never die

That little diahatsu doesn't hang around  might put something in there with 8 plugs not 3 ? , but i need to cure the understeer first as i was running out of steering lock.

i've emailed that guy, and will let you know

see you soon

Excellent day lads, even the weather was kind to us.Was nice to meet you all and put faces to names to cars etc..
Arrived at 7.30 and was greeted with "Hi Jon,here`s your garage and would you like a cup of tea" Top man Martin thanks.
I thought the driving standards on the whole was pretty good, apart from the birthday boys and girls .Only a couple of red flags for people in the gravel over a whole day isn`t bad at all.
My car went well, although suffered bad understeer throughout the day, four year old tyres just don`t the mustard any more And I paid big time in the morning, for not bedding those Brakes in properly, settled down in the afternoon though.
Thanks to Paul for the wake up call early in the day while it was still greasey, have you thought about ballet? you looked like you have potential You made up for it later though, your car goes well considering it`s an E36
Glad I went, very well run, good track, good weather and good company.

Cheers Jon

Was good to see everyone,

big thanks to Jon90 for the passenger laps.. the only thing that came past us in 12 laps was a full race radical type thing, with new tyres on you'll be unstoppable!
Makes me realise just how much I can't drive...

All the cars were looking very good out there.

The little daihatsu was also very impressive.  The steaming mustang was a little concerning...

I've got some really good photos, think I've got most of the m3's,  I should have them online later in the week.  I'll post them up then.

You looked a bit sleepy still so I thought I'd wake you up with a side view of my car
I had another couple of moments in the day too
One when I put a wheel on the grass though Graham Hill Bend which got a bit out of shape, but the scariest was when I took the wrong line into Paddock avoiding the red ferrari and reached full opposite lock at speed before the camber sorted me out
Apart from that, the car behaved very well but I do need to get harder tyres as I've now trashed the Khumhos in two trackdays.

Good driving everyone. Hope to see you out there again

Cheers

Paul

I want to do this but there is a chance the engine won't be ready, if you can find out how quickly it's filling up that would be great.

The Charade you are on about, was that Matt from ETA with his stripped out red-un?

is matt geoff's stepson. I have not been done there since I had my red m3 a couple of years ago. the cecotto has been keeping bexley's ramp warm. I take it that the business is doing well. saw the article in one of the mags last month
