That little diahatsu doesn't hang around  might put something in there with 8 plugs not 3 ? , but i need to cure the understeer first as i was running out of steering lock.

i've emailed that guy, and will let you know

see you soon

Oops i went and got an E36 !

I'd have loved to have joined you lads (shut up Uwe!) but it's a bit far from here to BH.

When I lived in Kent I remember finding out years ago that the infield at Paddock isn't as flat as it appears!

In my open-top, no roll-cage, Sunbeam Alpine - scary!

Had a great day at Brands today and the weather held out.

It was marred a bit by the number of slow hire drives on track, but apart from that I got some good laps in and the general standard of driving amongst the faster guys was good.

Also the marshall did a great job leaving people alone to have a few good tussles :)

Anyway, here are a few pic’s of the old girl in action.

And if you ever want to scare an E30 on the early laps, try this ;)

That’s what happens if you carry way too much speed through Surtees. I cut McLaren across the grass and rejoined clearways sideways

Had few other moments, but nothing a smidge of opposite lock couldn’t cure.

All in all a good day.

Hope everyone else had a good time.

Cheers

Paul

What a great day!

Thanks to everyone who attended, it was great to meet so many people. For anyone who either has never done a trackday, or like me had several years off, I can only say what a great bunch to go with. Everyone was really friendly and helpful.

I'm not the quickest so I found the day quite challenging, but the confidence grew through the day. A big thanks to Matt and Geoff who were a great help as always, even if I'm not as brave as they would like!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Guys

A great day despite my mechanical gremlins - whatever they turn out to be  Hopefully the new disk being fitted to the rear will cure them

Had a  terrific time - no rain - no problems - no incidents and an extremely well run track day.

good to meet you all - enjoyed the pax ride John - engine sounds awesome with the CF box

Only nuisance on the day was the Ferrari and Caterhams going round as slow roadblocks!

I looked at my video clips when i got home and i was doing 1 min laps

See you all soon

Martin

Hello Jon,

Watch out for the grey single seater as I believe its looking for a fresh coat of silver paint.

Watch out for Tom`s beach ( Padock Hill ) as well. last time he was out he set up camp there after some brain, sorry brake fade.

Hope you all have a good day out and keep it on the black stuff, and bring all the cars home in one piece.

regards,

Dave
