Jim that would be seriously awesome. But obviously we need to sort out the order 1st... come on guys, anyone else interested? Anyone else figured out exactly what they want?

Let do this soon.

This is what I said so 160L should do it.

If I can get in excess of 150 litres then £27.50 excl carraige

Do you want me to get carriage costs on this total or leave a day or two? And carriage to where?

Cheers

Simon

Car looks like it will need a few hundred euros spent to get through the NCT so might need to hold off on the oil for a bit, F*&k those  salty english roads, sorry

Mark, just put it through as is and let them point out what needs doing rather than throwing money at it on someones say so. It'll work out cheaper in the long run.

Robbie - Just had car up on the ramp, everything is a nice shade of brown.. Suppose i could send it through nct and see whats needed. Pissed off as seller said it was immaculate and needed nothing and the new front shocks must be the new invisible ones cause we couldn't see them

Mark i'd still put it through. Mine is due for the NCT in June but i'm not too bothered as i'm sure they'll find some reason to fail it. I'll have a good look over the car myself and make sure obvious stuff like no blown bulbs etc.

As for the rust, my car started life in the north and has some nice brown patches on the underside. I gave it a powerwash underneath over the weekend and found some nice patches but nothing terminal.....i hope.

Hope it does'nt need too much work, when is your NCT date?

Ah, well then your not too bad. Just take your time getting whatever needs attention and then call up the NCT crowd. My car has been in the south for over three years now and has'nt had an NCT in that time. I've been driving it daily to Naas and back up until about three weeks ago and it was never mentioned even when i was pulled for speeding. Of course i drive to Tullamore about two weeks ago and run into a Garda checkpoint for waste management outside the dump, the friendly Garda said if he stopped me again without the disc displayed i'd be looking at €1500!........what a joke

Anyway, i say drive it around until they stop you then apply for the test and you dont need NCT to tax your car either.

160 litres is 160 kilos.

Pickup would be Redruth, Cornwall.

I'll get a price too but where to?

Cheers

The cost for 160kg to Dublin is £222

If you can do better then I can pack it up for collection here in Cornwall.

Cheers
