Nice to see 3 cars I knew about

Paul your Radical sounds brill, just caught enough to see you spin (on purpose at the bend where the exit gate was) Far more controlled than the Alfa who decided to go straight on into the field at the same corner (so much for brakes !)

Jon yours sounded good out of the bends as well (heard you had another Hawthorn moment but not as serious !)

Steve you weren't squeelling as much as the others ! so those 19's must have some grip

Glad you all had fun

Second vid. This one is quite big (110MB) - just under 14 minutes of chasing M BLUR around the track.

Download worked a treat on that last one Steve. cheers m8.. will splice with my own footage and send to Stephen.

I def need more front grip for the fast sweepers but I was outbraking everything bar the rad on the day and scalped a Chimera and a 993 Carrera too boot.. job done..

Beemers rocked East Fortune that day.. Steve's oil burner very impressive between corners..

m8 so did the M on full chat.. those Chimeras lack a real top end to wail proper.. sounds greta on the road tho.

Rad sounded lovely - as those bikey engine things go... onl;y going to get quicker as Paul learns its limits.. the only car I was worried about in my mirrors - that and Steve's diesel monster of course..

Went out with Rog (aka Admiral) and the devil posessed me - lap times dropped 5 secs a lap and then I overcooked it twice.. exuberant throttle being the culprit.. no excuses.Pushing harder than I woudl normally but the run offs were gr8 so it was good opp.. only light damage to front splitter.

Great day.. lovely track.. beautiful weather.. can't ask for more.

Stickies would have been better as I was washing out a bit on turn in which led to both my spins....

Good to meet you Jon

Great pics and vids Steve, Dan is happy you got some pics of him driving. He also wants to thank you for the pax laps, he's still talking about your car!

There's a 4 hour session at KH this Thurs for £80 if anyone is interested.

Paul

No need to worry Jon, after the throttle pedal was fixed I wouldn't have been in your mirrors long

You to Paul.. Rad was very cool.. especially once you got the throttle sorted.. banzai is the word the word that comes to mind..

But will our front splitters take the abuse Paul.... not for me.. will get the wee car checked over first... maybe next month's Hot Marques tho.

Steve,

Give them a call for further info. I don't know if I'm going yet, hopefully I can get all sorted but will not know until tomorrow.

Got 3 bodyshops quoting 8LUR in next 24 hours.. costs will dictate my next outing.. but June 25th on regardless.... for I will have satisfaction...

Steve - you're gonan have a great battle against Yoshi at Crail - by then he'll be running trick suspensioon, diff and 450bhp..let the battle of the black behemoths commence.. Germany v Japan... coooooool.

Me - well I'll be going to hunt Donato and his ultra cool RX7 amongst other things..

Starting to worry about the surface at Crail now  Did minimal damage to my tyres on the surface at East Fortune whereas previously Crail has been known to chew tyres

Aye - EF a cracking track, I'm sure Javelin would run a day for us and MMC would give us permission but we'd struggle for numbers and cost perhaps too high for some palettes.. but for the money Crail is still a good giggle... either that or you and Yosh short at Knockers but that's a technical circuit and he knows/drives it very well whereas it'll be a level playing field at Crail.

Me - that smooth, nae virginal, black top was worth every pound!!

What I'm going to do now is book the bodyshop straight after a track day.. just in case. I have a number of a great guy if you need any blemish removal.

Good to see you there Malc, pity you couldn't get into the pits as I have quite a few times where the PAX seat was free as Yoshi was feeling ill after the second stint in 8LUR....
