You can convert to a e36 rack , not too much of a mission and better steering ratio . Good luck .

not to sure what holes you mean but TBH the steering rack
is placed were it is for a reason, i'd think to move the rack would miss-place the track rod's (steering arms) also the broken "tabs" for the anti roll bar can be sorted fairly easy by someone with a welder, ive seen a few broken anti roll bar "tabs" that have been repaired with a small (properly sized) bit of flat metal welded in place of the broken tab, once in place just drill a hole through the new piece of metal for the bolt to go through, saves a lot of bother |
