Hi1 I HAVE TO CHANGE MY FRONT CROSSMEMBER/SUBFRAME,ON MY 87 325I, DUE TO THE USUAL SWAYBAR MOUNTS BROKEN,I NOTE THAT MY STEERING RACK IS MOUNTED ON THE FRONT SET OF HOLES,WAS WONDERING WHAT DIFFERENCE IT WOULD MAKE, USING THE REAR HOLES INSTEAD? SORRY MY CAPS LOCK IS STUCK! BEST  REGARDS.

not to sure what holes you mean but TBH the steering rack
is placed were it is for a reason, i'd think to move the
rack would miss-place the track rod's (steering arms)
also the broken "tabs" for the anti roll bar can be sorted
fairly easy by someone with a welder, ive seen a few
broken anti roll bar "tabs" that have been repaired with a
small (properly sized) bit of flat metal welded in place
of the broken tab, once in place just drill a hole through
the new piece of metal for the bolt to go through, saves a
lot of bother

You can convert to a e36 rack , not too much of a mission and better steering ratio . Good luck .Thumbs Up
