I have just bought a 5ltr tin of this stuff and last Saturday spent all day underneath the car spraying all over the underside of it as well as the inside of my doors.
Cheaper than Zeebarting it.

I have to say that is seems to be great stuff.

All this for Gaydon and the impending dreaded salt of winter.

Anyone else used it? What do you think of it?

Before plastic inserts the Independent garage I used put it on everything that was exposed (within reason) very few of the old cars I had developed as much rust as similar models he swore by the stuff.

Any re-sprays he did automatically got coated and if it wasn't on he made sure it was after he serviced them

Dad who also uses the same garage has had cars which should have ended up on the scrap heap for years more than other people again through liberal amouts of waxoyl (Austin's, Morris, Vauxhall, Renault, Ford the usual suspects). Only plastic inserts have really replaced it's use for wings, valences and sills

If you don't have plastic protection it's a good investment and always check it's state once a year (usually before winter !)

Toby.. it was the cream coloured stuff like Pete used but goes on clear.

Pete... I did'nt need to mate, last Saturday was scortcher down here, so it went on really easy.

Malc... I thought the stuff was excellent, but will really find out after the winter is over, then I will check it again and give it another going over. Probably do this once a year from now on.
