Front bumper needs a coat of paint! and I've seen the e39 style front for the e34 has anyone got a pic of one fitted without rest of naff body kit? Whats the fit/quality like? or has any one got a mint sport/M5 front bumper? (in daytona violet would be a touch)

p.s. Miles, I've got a Bently manual now! (£38 amazon)

Glad to hear that you got a good price on the Bentley Manual. I am sure it would be cheaper to have your existing bumper professionally resrayed rather than buying a good condition Sport/M5 bumper ? None of the bodykits i have seen are as good a quality as the original kit apart from AC Schnitzer, Hartge etc which would definitely cost more than a respray

im not sure but i think you need a hartge chasis number before they will supply you with any hartge parts i have always had to supply mine. Birds might be a different story, as for the sport/Mtec body kit this is still available from BMW i have part numbers some were if you like i could dig them out for you,or you could always buy the lower lip from a sport for your front bumper from FAB if yours has fogs i belive that is the only part that is needed to make up a sport bumper. as for after market body kits no dont go there the best looking kit in my opinion is the BMW sport..

sorry i read your post wrong i thought you was up grading your 520 to a 525 sport perhaps next time i will read it properly..

so why not get a repaint warren it would work out a lot cheaper than buying a second plus all the aggro of removing /refitting and lining the replacement back up..plus a repaint any way if its not in your colour?

Yes I do have the sport bumper! It also has some minor damage but it looks as though I'll get it resprayed.
