Just wondering is the club having a stand at the car show in Terenure College on the 11th of this month would be a good way to increase club membership, I have heard that the organisers have up to 800 vehicles being pledged to attend the display arena to date.

If you didn't tear the **** off of it pulling onto the M50 from Joe Duffy's, you'd not get far before you had to get out to be able to pay the toll!

.....Or you could just shoot under the barriers.... not that we'd condone such behaviour

Have to say the show was good apart from the modified cars stand.I thought it was a bit out of place there. There was a red e46 Coupe with a horrible bodykit slapped on with fake vents in the wings and an M3 badge on the boot.......why of why??????

A friend of a friend told me in the pub the other night that you are legally allowed to damage these cars!*

* in addition to the damage the owner has done

The other two E36's with flip paint, etc were fit to make me cry too.

What are these people thinking?

Hi Guys,

Nice to see the Z1 at the show. It belonged to the people at Motor Import for some time. I called out there one day in 1990/1991 to have a look and take a photo and the lads in the service department were good enough to insist it be washed before I took the photo.

Not only did I get a photo of it, the lad driving told me to sit in and he took me for a drive. (I was just too young to drive at the time) Needless to say I had a grin from ear to ear that day. They reckoned at the time it was one of only 2 in the country.

I saw about 15-20 of them in Killarney last year. I think it was a club outing from Holland. No camera with me that day though. Fabulous cars and well ahead of thier time.....

Killian the M3 CSL looks very tasty, maybe club members might be interested in a shared ownership scheme

I'd gladly clean out my penny jar for a contribution to the shared ownership plan, as long as I can buy the drivers seat with my share...
