I would lurve to join you but the date is 15th Aug and I am due back 10th Aug. Might wangle it out though, as if I've not had enough of a PAID holiday! Woohoo. I guess we could have our own stand.. what do you think Dunc.. be nice with M 8LUR surrounded by E36 M3s.. then there's Gary's E30, Jim's.. M5??? but the point being it's for modified cars - so do we actually have enough modded cars in the club..?Posted By: Webdunk

For modded cars, we have yours, Pete's, Neil's, Stephen's and Rattler's.
Gary's can hold its head up in pretty much any company. Even the diesel twins are argaubly modded... -------------

The twins or the cars... Yes - it's not a bad bunch.. we'll make sure we have plenty of polish. I've got a Williams flag and with the BMW one we can start to put up a good stand. I've also got stuff like GruppeM brochures etc. We could get stand plates made up.. I'm happy to contribute to have my own done.. what about everyone else.. I'm up for this and we could really put on a good stand if we get prepared with stand number plates, tech sheets, badges and banners... oh and some serious polish. I know Nero is a dab hand on the tech sheets if we passed him the stats... oh - and we'll have our laminated dyno sheets too. I think we should make this a 3-line whip for all M boys in the region and a 2-line for everyone else.. it's also a good chance to hook up with our Northern brethern..

I also want Colin Gallie to bring his 2002 tii 'M' as it'd make a great centre peice for the display and is arguably the most modified of the lot. Also there is a 3-line whip on Wendy.. the car's coming whether G is in it or not... I've spoken to the office and will confirm arrangements on Monday. We may use it as a basis for a BMW feature for the most modded cars.

Just a wee note re. the aberdeen show, met with the guys that are running/organising the stands at the show and they said that anyone else interested will have to be quick and know for sure how many cars are going as a lot of sites and clubs are signing up seeing as its for free! -------------

What I have noted from the F&M office is that they are after 'modified' cars and it can't be another BMW club-type stand. F&M are looking to pack the show out with the best in Scotland... Only modified (or M) cars I'm afraid. I reckon the stand may be confined to between 3-6 cars max.. Still waiting on confirmation. Will keep you guys up to date.
