My car takes ages to start, but when it does it is as sweet as anything. Has anybody had a problem starting and traced it back to the idle stabiliser. Have checked most other things. Please help

There could be a one of a few things here. It could be the temperature time switch that operates the cold start valve or the cold start valve itself. The only other thing it might be is the warm up regulator which alters the fuel mixture during the engine warm up stage.

The Cold start valve is located on the inlet manifold & both the temperature time switch & the Coolant sensor's are located on top of the thermostat housing.
