I am currently considering purchasing a set of 8x15" BBS RS Split rims for my 1981 E12 M535i. The vendor say's that the wheels have an offset of ET24, are BMW/Audi fitment and require 225/50/15 tyres, the car originally came equipped with 6.5x14" rims. Would these new wider rims fit my vehicle? unfortunately due to location problems I am unable to try them prior to purchase. I am concerned about both arch clearance and calliper clearance  Alternatively does anyone know the offset of the wheels originally fitted to the E12 M535i ? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Regards

Pete
