Good afternoon Have my engine light come on intermittently - my C110 diagnostic kit throws up 3FF0 - dreaded MAF. I can generally clear the code but it returns at a later date. When you Google the issue most say its a new MAF required some have replaced the MAF (with OE) and still the light comes on. Car has done 123K now but it is in good condition and well maintained; but most of all I love the car! My Indie has gone on holiday to France for 3 weeks but am seeking best way to cure this fault. Reluctant to purchase new MAF when it might not be the true culprit(after 120K it might be). Please do not recommend full engine decoke  ; have cleaned the EGR which was fairly light oily type gunge, but not bunged up!Any proposals please! regards tsk ps Anybody know what happened to Jimmy Brown - came on March 2013 and last post Nov 2013! ------------- tsk |
