The tax-disc is dead, long live ANPR!  "From 1 October 2014, the paper tax disc will no longer need to be displayed on a vehicle windscreen. Last time I got a Tax Disc, I had my Insurance and MoT certificates (paper copies) with me - I was told, not needed,everything is online So everything is now paperless  -------------  |

Agreed, I always got my tax-disc via on-line as that way I could check that my MOT & Insurance was registered so ANPR would work. BUT, IMHO no tax-disc on display means that the man-in-the-street can't 'help' the DVLA with out of date discs. We're now reliant on ANPR, so are there now going to be more hand-held devices by wardens? Probably not  ------------- Cats know your every thought. But don't care. |
