I am unfortunately not going to be able to make this as the BMWcc Board meeting is on the same day and I need to go to that. I am disappointed as I was looking forward to something different. Shorty has kindly agreed to take the lead so he will be bossman!!! Clap

Ah well you see Shorty the average Jag driver is an automatic kinda guy, he wants to waft along the road to the golfist pitch with his golf bats in the boot and not be bothered about changing gear.

The average Beamer driver (most of the folk on here) have a manual so he can drive erm um shall we say more enthusiastically than your average Jag driver off to play with his bats.

Me, I've been driving autos for 14 years and love them. My dad can't wait to come and have a nosey round and see some other BMs in the flesh. We're both looking forward to it, cheers for taking the regins on this one.

That was great!

Mackie's have a very impressive operation, great people too.

Everyone with an auto-box  is feeling the need of a service, yesterday...  LOL

Yeah great day, me and my dad really enjoyed it. Thanks for organising.

It was good to meet up with a few familiar faces again. It's been a while since I've gone to a BMWCC event....

Who was the chap in the E92 335d, looked a nice car but never got a closer look at it.

A great day! Even better than I expected. Thanks to all who organised the visit.
Hello Andrew Rolland; the 335d is mine (ageing chap in blue jacket with beard and specs). Just as well you didn't look too close as you would have noticed the pock marked bonnet! Just replaced discs and pads all round so will need to recharge the car fund before getting a front end respray. May even treat the autobox to a Mackie service.

Never got a chance to have a blether about your wheels.

I'm with Cambell I thought the car looked a good'un.
