Gosh don't kids grow up quick ?
My proud as hell daughter has her first BMW, a 1997 1.8 litre (1895cc) Z3, it isn't perfect, but it wasn't very expensive either.
I'd only driven the 2.8 & 3.0 litre varients, and I am very surprised at just how nimble and nippy this litle four pot is ;

I like the colour.

You're going to be surprised by this, it is about £660.00 a year fully comp !
A whole £60 more than her smart fortwo coupe.
She is 20, 3 years ncb, and we live in an insurance "A" location (supposedly low for claims etc).
Her boyfriend, same age, same ncb, sameish location (same City still an "A" area) ... a tad over £2,000.
My daughter can enjoy if for this year, by her renewal in December she'll be 21, 4 years ncb I hope, and hopefully her IAM ............ because.........in December 2012, being a girly will no longer count, courtesy of the EU, as it has been deemed illegal discrimination, and of course the boys premiuns aren't going to fall, the girls will just go up ! ------------- Best Wishes Nigel |

I didn't think she was as old as that, weren't you on here talking about her learning to drive only a year back?....Hmm mibbie it was more like 3 years ago. Oh god where has the last 3 years gone.....
The age thing makes a difference plus the 3 years ncb will be a big plus. When I turned 21 with the 3 years ncb it made a big change in my premium so much so that the insurance company said it was only high as my 19 year old sister was on the policy. ------------- Be exclusive and drive a Petrol 5 Series!
