The May monthly meet is a planned drive to Kenmore. We will go the the car park we went to last year for a BBQ. But I will need to know who is coming for the BBQ as we ran out of burgars last year and we cant have that happening again. Attending -------------  |

After 3 failed attempts by the garage to repair the fault I gave in and went to BMW instead. They found it to be something completly different yet the independant garage had supposedly the 'best of kit with 60k worth of computers and up to date software and online support on par with bmw's equipment'. Have you ever heard of the same part being faulty four times and would you be willing to change it four times before saying hold on I think it must be something else? I wonder how many times they would have kept on going changing the same part... Bol*x to that as I wasted far too much time and money on that problem with them. Avoid the independant garage in Coatbridge if I were you or anyone else. Still ongoing though... Long story. Everyone who has shown an interest has been sent a PM with the route and meeting points. We will be starting at the Forth Road bridge macdonalds at 9am for breakfast leaving there by 9.30. Then we will stop at kinross services to meet anyone who wants to meet us there around 10am. We will then stop at the Crieff visitors centre to regroup then up to the car park in Kenmore for a bbq around 12pm. Cheers Issy

Well thats me just sat down and im knackered  BBQ stuff all away ........car washed to remove the fly population of Scotland and now im hungry!! Someone want to make my dinner???  Thanks to everyone who turned out today for a fab day in Kenmore. Lots of laughs and utter chaos as usual  The sunning was shinning it was a beautifull location for a bbq. Sandy seemed to enjoy the burgers  but forgot his speedos so there was no dookin!! Nicw to meet some new faces .......hope we didnt scare you off  I will start a seperate thread for photos. Hi Issy sorry bout yesterday wot a mare i had ,doen a google for kenmore n got the one up north across from skye n one o the lads said ive been there its about 1.5 hrs from here ,so off i set n when i called you it was a bad line so never got to ask if it was the right kenmore ,anyway off i went to kenmore via beully lochcarron, seadaig etc heading west to skye after 2hrs driving through the best scenery in the world i arrived at kenmore which consisted of three houses in a little bay , so i kept driving south thinking i wld end up in fort bill ,nope i ended up at a dead end road ,so had to drive all the way back the way i just came i have never seen so many bikes on a single road ,had to stop in every passing place ,when u foned me i had been driving for 4 hrs n 3/4 of a tank John

so just after our call i stopped for fuel n dropped my bloody fone so by then i had had it up th my eyeballs n wanted to get home for a beer so after an epic 8 hr drive i finally arrived home to a nice pint or 8 ciders so the moral of the story is trust the satnav n not one o your work mates ,so if anyone is looking for ideas for a belter of i run i hve found thee best for mountain n loch scenery there is in the world ,hope u all had a great day n im sure ma burger got done in ,lookin fwd to the pics ,again Issy, sorry Posted By: m3tiko

Funny you say that John as I too looked at Kenmore and
noticed it was NW. This got me thinking as it wouldn't be fair on the east coasters...hence derived that it must be elsewhere and more central for all to get to lol.
