Calling all M635 CSi and 6 series owners. Purists apart, I am needing at least 30 customers willing to purchase new carbon - fibre front wings to expunge the 6 series Achilles heel once and for all. Like the brand new 5 series with its aluminium front bodywork, further honing handling, the same will aid the responses of the fabled 6 series. Why spend extra time having those metal wings galvanised and then performing a belt and braces process of waxoyling said panels, when lightweight carbon items will add to the "ultimate driving machine" mantra of BMW. Need interested parties to contact me firt, to gauge positive response. Then prices can be formulated. Hmm, I wonder if the lighter carbon-fibre wings would have an effect on handling / stability at the front end... -------------

Can't be THAT much difference in weight, surely. After all it's only a bit of sheet metal. -------------

I am told that they will be around £500 each, but the more people who want them the cheaper the price gets.
