Hi guys

Just about to change discs and pads on my E30 M3 and was thinking of using the Bimmerworld solid brake guide pin set I have had for some time.

Is the concensus still that these are a good mod.

Think so, not using them myself but have thought about it, only 'issue' is the lack of dust cover, so require more regular maintenance in terms of cleaning on a road car, a track/race car the brakes would be getting more attention in any case..

I use them. Not a problem at all. Mske sure the circlips seat properly. I had to dremel one caliper to remove some material from rough casting

I too have used them and they worked fine. They make the
pedal more sensitive, I also went for the 7 series master
cylinder. The bite and feel of the brakes were much
improved, even if the appetite for discs wasn't.
