Firstly my apoligies for posting this so late. As you will have seen the May monthly meet has been moved to 9th may due to a clash with Pistonheads planning the same route on the same day as ours. The arrangements are as follows - Meet at Mcdonalds at the Forth Road Bridge at 10.30am Leaving there at 11am heading up to Kenmore for lunch around 1pm following a planned route. I haven't decided whether we will have lunch in the hotel or a BBQ but plan to test out the route tomorrow when I will check it out. This will also be dependant on the weather. We will head home back to Stirling Services where we can split from there. Hope this sounds ok and if anyone wants to see the route please send me a PM. It would be helpfully if you could add your name to this list so I know how many to expect on the day. Thanks Issy  Attending Issy -------------  |

Thanks Guys  I took a run up that way today and the Kenmore Hotel is very nice albeit slightly pricey. However the car park we have found is perfect for a BBQ. So I think we should hope the weather will be ok and I will go shopping!!! ------------- |

I'm overdue a run to Kenmore so I'll certainly be keen to attend. Does anyone else from the North East want to join in? We have several routes to choose from, all of which avoid the main road. Issy, what car park are you thinking about? -------------

Hi all, long time no see. I was trying to get along to this one after speaking to Gary on last Sunday's cracking run and was keen to get out again this weekend, but my basketball team has made the cup finals which is being played this Sunday. Sorry I didnt get on here last night but couldn't get onto the internet ....very annoying! Turns out my wireless router is fooked so now waiting on a new one! What a FANTASTIC day we had! Thanks to everyone who attended. The drive was brilliant although you lot are like herding sheep! But we got there in the end. I loved those roads in my new car cant believe the difference a M makes! Although not sure about the 'calm doon woman' lights  The setting and the weather was just perfect and I think you will all agree that this should become a regular on our calander! (I want to go back next weekend!!) Many thanks to Sandy for helping me organise the route and taking the lead......brave man! And to Neil & Steve for the photos and Gary for getting everyone organised To everyone else for mucking in a helping with the set up and clear up of the BBQ. All in all a great day with loads of the usual banter. Think this one will take a lot of beating!!! ------------- |

I would love to have done but these are my first posts/visits on the forum in about a year! Lost a bit of interest after selling the M3 but gaining interest quickly again as I'm after another now. Must say your E30 looks bloomin marvelous in the flesh although I wasn't sure you were going to make it in front of that lorry just before the M9 turn off. It really is a special sight seeing so many lovely cars in a convoy and all so well behaved too. -------------

I've looked at a couple of CSL's but if I'm honest, it's probably stretching myself too far right now as I'd be financing a good chunk of it. So I'm thinking E46 M3 but I'm torn between buying a cheaper 2001/2002 model and spending some cash on mods I always wanted to do to my last car (big brakes, coilovers & weight saving) or whether to go for a 2005 car and leave it as god intended (for a while). I'll no doubt end up fannying about for another few months as I can't seem to make my mind up but I've got a set of LM's that need a good home! -------------
