Hello, i am new to this forem. Ihave a 1996
328 coupe sport in
hellrot red which i have owned for 3.5 years.
It came as a m3 rep complete with badges
which were quickly
removed. As it is an early sport it came with
a lsd, also full
beige leather, full m3 body kit including
mirrors and rear
spoiler. I have kept it looking standardish,
blk kidney grill, bbs
lm reps,coilovers and new exhaust.
Performance wise i have the 325 manifold,
bbtb, stage 2 k&n
induction, power flex bushes and strut
braces front and rear.
It has 125k on the clock and fsh.
I look forward to any local meets in the near
future.
Ross

Heres photos at last

This is what I bought. Really good condition and had what I was looking for. (Except alloys and M3 badges)

I then bought a K&N stage 2 induction kit with heat sheild. Brought a nice noise and a wee bit more urgencey but something was missing!! Strut brace front and rear added

Nice and clean in my work car park

Black kidney grills added and a lower rep GT2 front splitter

Powerflow exhaust added. Bit loud but very nice burble on the over run.

By now I had taken it to Alpina571 (??) down near london to get the manifolds changed to the 325 capacity ones (Instead of 320 ones) and a larger bored throttle body. WHAT a difference it makes!!! The car comes alive at 4000rpm and pulls all the way to 6800rpm. This is one mod i would recommend to anyone. It was the best £400 spent ever on my car.

Alloys changed some where in between. 18" BBS LM reps

Now that i had done most of what i had planned to the power (still to get a remap) I turned my attention to the running gear. I bought jamex adjustable coilovers and powerflex bushes. Due to the coilovers i had to remove the GT2 splitter as couldn't get over speedbumps in my area!!!!!

I am in the middle of trying to recondition my alloys (the blisters) and then need to do something about my rear arches!!!!!

Forgot to say, de lensed my headlights and added angel eyes, got motorsport badges to cover the side M3 ones, red calippers, M3 rear badge changed to 328is, flat wiper blades, original bmw mudflaps all round. Lots of other wee things no doubt but hard to remember everything
