The new BMW Club NE website is now up & running.

Take a look - http://www.bmwclubne.co.uk/ - www.bmwclubne.co.uk

As a reminder, we meet the first Wednesday of every month at the Dun Cow, Primrose Hill, Bournmoor, just off the A1 / Chester-le-Street junction.

Our members have a good spread of models - from 2002's up to the latest 2009 models so there's something for everyone.

Hope to see you at the next meeting.

Shame the website wont let you create a profile.. ie what
car you got , where you from. Also no way of really saying
"hi" to other members.... For todays standards way below
basic... sorry

Take a look - the Global Community Map let's you say who you are, where you are & what car you drive.

It's a website to publicise ourselves & pass on details of events to our members, not a forum - there are plenty of those already.

Sure, we could have made it less "basic" but this is what our members wanted. We don't charge for membership so we don't have the funds the national clubs do.

You're only down the road from out meeting place so why not come along on Wednesday 3rd February & say "Hi" in person?

Haven't been on here for a while, on about 7 x BMW forums plus a couple of non car related forums, so sometimes certain sites get a bit neglected.  As Andy stated the new BMW Club NE site is what we required for a club site basically to give out info and the Community Map gives a chance to put personal details in place.  The site is just up and running so give it a chance.

Any newcomers welcome to come along next Wednesday to the Dun Cow.

Peter Cossavella - BMW Club NE treasurer.

New web site is great just what our club needs.  You cant please everyone all the time as Andy and Peter said its not a forum if thats what you want there is tons of them out there.   Was nice to see such a good turn out at feb's meet.

Looking forward to all the events we have planned for this year.
