I've got an '89 6er (beautiful, i love it, don't know why i waited so long) and it's time to go imperial on the wheels. i've found some nice looking 17" BMW wheels with 225/45's - off a 5 series i think. Will they fit is the obvious question? But i'd also like to get some snow chains as i'm driving to the alps this winter. Are there any clearance issues? All help gratefully recieved.
