Can't find an e36 pic to post but Lagoon Green is another relatively rare colour.  First appeared late in the e30 run and didn't last too long in to the e36 run.  Not sure if Boston Green replaced it or ran alongside it.

A bit of a marmite colour that one. Personally I hate it.

Green is good on nature but not on cars, IMHO

A pal of mine was a bit superstitious about green and therefore of that car.  Didn't like to admit that I picked it up on Friday the 13th!

Didn't realise Kashmir Beige Metallic was still available on the E36. Looked good on my E30 320 cab.

I guess Avus Blue isn't that rare.

I had an M3 Coupe in that Santorini Blue. It had a GT2 spoiler and was an individual spec. Its actually not a million miles from yourself Dergside - over in Birdhill now. 95 TS Reg you might have seen it around. Owner has made a lovely job of it.

This car is for sale advertised as "sonderlach grey".  If my german holds up I think that just means "special paint grey", so I don't know which one - the BMW chart is full of greys of one sort or another.  Never seen this colour before though.  Any ideas?

Barbados Green

I found one advertised as "steel blue" recently too, but I can't find the advert again to get a picture into here.

I had a Kashmir beige 1991 316i Auto E36 with beige interior and brown
dash.

Byzanze Orange was an M3 3.2 Evo saloon colour - there's an R reg one
near me. I've only ever seen two.

Brokat (Brocade) red was an E34 colouyr around 1991/2 that found its
way onto a few E36's around the same period - it's a nice colour.

Fern green was an E46 colour used on late 1998/99 E36 Coupes,
Convertibles and Tourings.

Nepal silver was thankfully only used on Compacts..........

Morea green is very common!

Steel blue.

and

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/largepic.asp?i=1571001&noPics=8&make=BMW&model=^3:DIGIT:*&imgsrv=1&current=6">BMW ^3:DIGIT:*

Sea Green.

Brokat is the colour that I want - it is stunning.  Only seen one Byzanz Evo saloon.  Morea is common - too common, but very rare on anything that you might want, mercifully.  Finding a mint Morea M3 for a fiver would be a real dilemma.
