Hi,

Could someone tell me how to change the complete door mirror (external) on an E39

Hi

Firstly remove the corner trim piece on the inside of the door & window where the mirror sits, this will reveal either 3 x cap screws which you remove with an allen key, or 3 x hex screws which you remove with a socket, then unplug any wires that are there for heated glass etc.
