I drive a 2002 E46 M Sport Coupe. 48k miles. Sports suspension and Michelin Pilot Sport tyres.

In recent months I had noticed that the "back end" just didn't seem to "dig" in when driving spiritedly! I just did not have the same confidence. Performance BMW mag July 2008 (p.19) had a very interesting feature on some recent developments regarding an independent BMW specialist in Bexleyheath, Kent (South East London). As my car was due its Inspection II I booked it in with Bexley and had Polyflex bushes fitted to the rear trailing arm and four wheel alignment.

Wow, what a difference! The "back end" is now tight and completely under control. The alignment results showed that all 4 wheels were out of alignment by varying amounts. The car drives like new! I am now looking at the options to tighten the from end without affecting the ride quality. Thanks to Bexley Motor Works.
