As most know the Rubber seals on the e36 coupe rear side windows are poor..Neil replaced his around 3 years ago,so you would not expect them to need replaced again? Wrong
He also chose to replace the trim that goes the whole lenth of the car round windows .This was easy to remove by simply pulling it off
Once removed the paint was cleaned to remove any dirt before refitting new ones
All seals and trims replaced.What a transformation for less than £100 and 2 hours of your own time

Done this 3 times now - 328i, GT and Rory's Evo. Makes all the difference when you're done

There used to be 'Gummi pflege' to care for rubber seals but, this is discontinued, as I have asked at the stealers.  Are there any good alternatives to care for rubber anyone? |

just noticed, that the rear quarter window method of removal was from the glass screw...very brave!  I removed the interior C pillar lining and took the whole arm and glass out, much safer with regards to cracking the quarter glass. IMO |

Can't believe you left my Silver Evo out Duncan, well upset Does look good once done though. Thanks for the heads up NeRo Tried one of the Meguiars rubber care products which, left a brown matty finish to rubbers when used over a continuous period of time, cant remember what it was called though..  |

Cheers for that Pete. Very easy and very worth while job if you have an e36 coupe. The biggest difference was the full length trim, makes the car look so much fresher. Mine was all bubbled and faded, so the new ones at 20 quid a piece were a bargain.
