Time to get our act together team. Who's coming to Gaydon this year
We've been asked to help out with the marshalling again this year with the same arrangement as last year where we get in early en masse to let us sort our own cars before mucking in and helping with directing folk. We've got 25 places and may be able to wangle some more if loads of you volunteer and don't forget that (a) the more volunteers we get, the less each individual has to help out with and (b) confirmed marshalls get tickets as a thank you for helping out. 1 Webdunk, Marshall 2 Gary, Marshall 3 nessiemark, Marshall 4 stevie53, Marshall 5 shorty, Marshall 6 NeRo, Marshall 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 Reserve List 1 2 3 4 5 As ever, please don't post hotel details here. Contact a committee member if you need em (me, Shorty, NeRo, Issy, Gary, Stevie53, Pete330) There is likely to be a convoy departing sunny Glasgow around 10am on the 9th of August for the show on the 10th. Others will make their own way at various times. All are welcome at the hotel and in the convoy; only BMWCC members can display their cars on the stand. -------------

Hi troops, as some of you already know i'm having some personal issues and unfortunatly have to pull out of this. Really enjoyed myself last year having Stevie Gills rocket launcher hanging out the window and drinking till early hours with Stevie53 and watching the big fight live. I'm sure most of you will remember. Hope to get to next years though. My place is up for grabs if anyone wants to take it, I've informed Dunc already although its number 13 Enjoy. Alan. |

You defo need these. When we are arriving early doors this will get us in early together as so many of you kindly volunteered to help with the marshalling. If Brum is busy guys ( it sometimes is on a Saturday), use the M6, M5, then M42 - M40. If you use the variable speed limit part of the M42 (which you will if you come straight off the M6 onto it), watch your speed, I know of several people who have been done in the last fortnight for speeds as hideous as 62 mph (when it says 50). Keep your eyes peeled on the M40 as well, you will be in the Warwickshire area, they will know the event is on, and their scamera mob are well known for motorway bridge monitoring. I know you'll all be gutted to know that I may well not make it this year I'm off to Brands Hatch on Friday for a Saturday meeting, which may well 'leak' into Sunday. Plans are still fluid (as they say) so you may well be still honoured by my presence, but TBH I doubt it. (how will you cope without me?)

Nope, that was not a typo - Scottish region departure for Gaydon on Sunday will by 0700hrs so that we all get in and set up together. Make sure you have your tickets, passes and a full tank of fuel on Sunday morning. -------------

Got some bad news put my back out yesterday and am not going to make it to the show which im not happy Anyway back to topic i now have a spare pass and stand pass if you know of any one who can get use of also have room booked and paid for fri and sat night im not bothered about the money but if anyone was interested. I can give pete tickets and hotel details and if anyone was willing to part with some cash put it towards the next Scottish Region charity cause. I e-mail details of the room for any interested.
