Chris,

The Queensferry meet is the Scottish Region of the BMWCC regular monthly meet. We get together @ the Hawes Inn (map at http://www.newtongrove.demon.co.uk/bmwcc/e.html">http://www.newtongrove.demon.co.uk/bmwcc/e.html) for a bit of banter. You're more than welcome to drop down and say hello. Drop me an eMail if you fancy popping along.

Cheers,

Duncan

Hi dudes.

Also a new member, I recently bought a '99 318ti sport (tart red) V***OCS for my wife. Stay in Glasgow South. My car is getting restored (integrale) so the compact is our new toy. Traded in our Mini (5 months old) for the compact after consistent problems.

Really enoying the rear wheel action and not in such a hurry to get my car back on the road now =)

Welcome aboard D2lta.

Will you be taking a wee drive up to Crail on the 23rd to come and meet some of the members from Scotland and beyond?

Full info at http://www.newtongrove.demon.co.uk/bmwcc/crail2002.html">http://www.newtongrove.demon.co.uk/bmwcc/crail2002.html.

Sounds good Duncan,

I have friends coming up from Wales for the weekend so unfortunately won't be able to make the trip :(

would be interesting to see how the 330td goes. Had a 320td compact when the car was in the garage and was amazed with the way it performed. Quicker than the 318ti!!  mmmm..... if only i had stuck in at school!!

Cheers Grant

Hey Chris,

If you're still around, did you pass through the Borders today heading up the A72 to Edinburgh?

D2lta

welcome to the board,I'm north Glasgow and if you wouldn't mind I would love to experience the passenger seat drive in your integrale when you get it sorted,  I 've always had a major soft spot for the Integrale. If you like in exchange you can have a blast in my car. I wolud love to compare the M5 against yours

Hi Chris,

It was definitely a yellow compact although I couldn't swear to the reg. The A72 goes from Galashiels to Peebles. It's 30 miles from Edinburgh (some test drive!) . If your car's at Eastern I might see it, as my work is adjacent to their new service/repair centre in Edinburgh.
