I've not done mine yet but it usually tells you on the box itself on a label. IIRC I think it's ATF, silly though it sounds I'm 99.9% sure it is. Mike -------------

I use Castrol Transmax Z when i change in my 540im6. it was what i find in a castrol recomendlist that I have.
