Does anyone have their BMW motorola phone working?

I have tried lots of friends 02 and vodafone sim cards but no joy despite being told they should work.

It won't take a 2.5 or 3g sim card.

Can anyone help with this or tell me where I can get a 2g sim?
Thanks

Kevin

Never had that kit but I fitted a bluetooth set up from Nokia in mine and it took...hmmm 40 mins to do it really neatly. NEver had a problem with it with any other nokia phone. just get in the car, start it and by the time your seat belt is on there is a chirp to say you are wired for sound!

Hope that helps...

Did you have some kind of connection in your car already or did you start from scratch?

from scratch kit just needs power supply and switch supply from position 2 on the ignition. speaker box screws os sticks in footwell, remote dialer and answer/call switch discretely by armrest...

piece of cake.

I'll move this all into the "General Technical" area for you - ok.
