Hi Can any one tell me why the Automatic Engine will not start when the Brakelight Fuse blows. After driving for some time I pulled in for petrol, the car would not start.
After RAC spent some time checking he decided to check the fuse box and the brake fuse had blown replaced and no problem.

I presume its an E46 3 series (1997-2005).
If the fuse doesn't control anything other than brake lights and crusie then maybe it still needs to check the cruise system* for faults before starting. I doubt it though!

* I know you don't have crusie but Im sure some of the bits for it are there.
