Just thought I'd share this with you.
obviously this was only after a wash, but not bad for a 20 year old car eh?

Thanks for sharing, Pitsy
Our lives are so much richer for it.
Seriously.... - You can't beat giving 'em a good bath! "bubble bubble, bubble bubble, bubble bubble, bubble"
(...That dog didn't seem too impressed. Did he help you clean the wheels?)

Go on, try it, you might like it!
I even got a compliment off a valeter today which is 9 days after the good clean up and she still looks mint.
Go on, impress us, clean it properly THEN take some pics (looks like a right dog in the first pic )
Mike
P.S. Glad you put it in the right section anyway!

What?! Cars are for driving!
Mind you I do prefer to Drive a Clean car - but wash & wax, that's it!
no point in point in poncing about if you use the car - that's for garage queens

No, it's called DETAILING & CAR CARE Which means you detail AND care, not one or the other. I think this thread should be removed for you breaking the rules

Once it is dry, then maybe you should consider looking up one of the site sponsors http://www.pro-detailing.co.uk/index.php - Here and get some detailing liquids and microfibre cloths for that tired old M3 (as well as yourself)
Hey! you never know, you might even spend more time cleaning the car than driving and enjoy it.. (like some on here..ROTFL)

The one that said "yes I admit I'm a bit of a detailer, sorry Mike, you were right" though not in those words exactly!

Don't talk to me about flooding! My car looks like it's been on a dusty building site! It took me 1.5 hours the other day to get to the hospital about 6 miles away becuase the 4 main routes were all closed and the cars coming the other way were covering my car with muddy water
Next spell of good weather, back out with the polish and toothbrush ay Si? shall I come to yours or you to mine?

Looking good.
I would definately go over it with some decent polish and wax at the least. The buffer kit from B&Q works great on my cars and makes the polishing/waxing a joy, mess free and fun (provided you don't cover the pad in polish and switch the thing on prior to pressing onto the bodywork!)
