Got a Ford Galaxy 2.8 V6 Ghia auto for the wife. 92,000 miles, little history and slight leak from side plate on autobox but engine is so smooth and quiet you think you have stalled at the lights and the auto changes smoothly and effortlessly. It has 6 really comfy captains chairs with armrests and plenty of bootspace.

That's not the good bit though, the good bit is the fact my car is now child free! No squeaky polystyrene booster seat squeeking on my leather, no toys rolling around, no empty sweet wrappers or crisp packets, no pushchair or anything to hinder the crisp ride and weigh it down. It's mine, mine ALL MINE!!!

The other good thing is, I now have a nice comfy seat to snooze in when the wife drives me home from getting rat ar$ed.

To celebrate, I'm off to get a full tank of V-power and as I'm off next week, I'm going to make full use of my valeters kit to bring out the shine!

Good times!

Mike

The 2.8 v6 motor was the best one for ford i had 2 serria 4x4's in past 1 with 2.8 and a 2.9 and the 2.8 was the better. hope you have good motoring with the new car

Makes sense considering the Galaxy is the same as the VW Sharan.

That much is true. Apart from the badge on the front and back, everything has VW stamped all over it. Parts are cheaper at VW too being the main manufacturer. Drinks more fuel than my V8 though!
