Seeing a Gold coloured 635csi leads to a <flashback> in time...

to between 1985 and 1989...to be exact, when the last time I seen one, was driven by (Maddie Hayes), in that crazy TV series called 'Moonlighting' with the then, sexy Cibil Shepherd and the newbie unknown actor Bruce Willis (David Addison)...

Think this was broadcast on Tuesday nights at 9pm (BBC2)

You either loved it or hated it, I think it should be re-run on TV again for the next generation..

Anyone else know of any famous BMW's which starred in films, tv shows post pics up of the shows etc....nostalgia time

Molly Ringwald's dad has an E23 in the Breakfast Club

And George McFly's present for being a successful author is another Gleaming E23, getting 'two coats of wax' from Biff at the end of Back to the Future!

I specialise in spotting E36 Convertibles as I have one... so here are three occurrences:

Renee Russo has a Boston Green one in Get Shorty
The Mother (I forget her character's name) has a white one in The Birdcage

...and Best of all, Karl Hungus has one in the 'film within a film' "Logjammin'" in The Big Lebowski.

Actually a standard US-spec 633Csi dressed up to look like the M6

Since I own and run an E24, there is no need for me to watch them on TV....

and also Ronin, not sure if it's a real M5, personally I don't think it is but a great chase sequence nuntheless.

I cannot be bothered to find it on any of the site lists but......

"The Chase" 1994.  Starring Charlie Sheen, and a red E36 328 (maybe a 325) coupe.

The entire film is a police chase of Charlie Sheen in the car, so almost 90 mins of high speed E36 action.

A fairly obvious one really.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who saw Ferris pass-out at 31 Flavours last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

My brother knows the guy who bought the only surviving 750iL from tomorrow never dies. It still has all the gizmo's like in the film. It's immaculate and fully loaded. The same guy also owns a rather nice Porsche 911 GT4 and a Bently continental R.

I'm not going to swear so I'll just say he's a git!

I once saw a BMW 6 series in eastenders when MY WIFE was watching it. As I remember it blew up when Phil Mitchel was chasing it in his Jag ending the life of the character played by that bloke what was in Spandau Ballet. Does that count?

Mike
