Gents

My new car has had dead battery at some point and the computer is flashing ---- UHR now im sure this means the time date needs setting but I dont know how to do it. Also can you switch the readings from Litres per 100 km to miles per gallon and if so how.

I'm not sure, as I haven't got mine outside. It's in the paint shop, but you need a pen or pin & at the bottom right hand corner of the OBC panel there is a wee reset button. Press that & you can reset time/date as well as the MPG.

Assuming you dont have a French car you will be able to switch from l/100 km to mpg.

To do this press the CONSUM button and the reset button one to get display in mpg, which is US setting (US gallon is slightly less than imperial), press reset button once more to get M/G which is the UK setting, press the rest again and your back to L/100.

To rest time press the rest button once then the 1000 and 100 button to set the hour and 10 and 1 to set the minutes the press reset button again.
