Folks,

Those of you who had a detailed look at your most recent club mag will have spotted that Gaydon is on the 5th of August and that tickets are now available. I've just booked mine.

This year, there is not regional quota! It's first come, first served so if we're quick off the mark then we could go down properly mob-handed. With all three meets so far this year numbering 25 or more I reckon we could take 40+ down to Gaydon which would be rather cool

So...

1) Contact the office on 01225 709009, have a payment card and your club membership number handy. Book a ticket and make sure you request a Scottish Pass too.

2) Let me know when you've done this so that I can keep track of numbers. mailto:duncan_ireland@yahoo.co.uk - duncan_ireland@yahoo.co.uk

Get dialling!

Cheers,

Duncan

sticky topic please

Dunc,

did you ask club why the date is so early in August and not the 19th as we originally thought and if you want us to decend on mass to the show wouldn't it be an idea to email all members to alert them as not all of them visit the forum regularly.

No sticky yet. Folk seem to ignore them anyway going by the karting response...

Nope. We had guessed the date based on previous years. You could ask when you're booking your spot?

We'll be doing that shortly. I didn't have what I needed to hand at work so I thought I'd get the ball rolling here.

1 ticket, pass and room sorted

I would say to any members not sure about going, to purchase a ticket and scottish region pass now because you might not get the pass later on and if it turns out you can't make it I'm sure there'll be other members willing to take them off your hands

Whats the crack with the gaydon trip? is it down Saturday, back up the road on Sunday? I take it the scottish pass entitles you to a space in the ground?

What about secure parking at the accomodation?

Sorry for all the questions but i'm keen!

Any of the North East crew heading down?

Normally meet at Bothwell Sat morning for 10am departure

We stay down near Gaydon Sat night and have stayed at same hotel for 3 years with no problems

always get cars out side bedroom windows if possible so everyone looks out for each other

we never say where we stay for this reason so if you want anymore info then drop me a bell

its a fair treck home after show around 4pm Sunday so i normally stop at the border somewhere to break the trip up (again somewhere safe)

I will be going down again this year for sure
