Hi I have just bought some E39 M5 alloys for my E30 M3. They will fit but apparently I need something called "Hub centrics rings" or something like that. Does anyone know what they are and where I can get them from please?? Chris |

He said Demon Tweeks but no go, also tried a few wheel places advertising in BMW magazine and no joy. Dont understand why they need them anyway!! Chris |

If im not mistaken, they are nylon rings that sit between the hub/disc and the alloy. Forgot what their purpose is. Only guestemated this as a friend of mine had some alloys fitted on his car last weekend at Extreme in Harlow- www.extrememotorsport.co.uk .....

E39 has a bigger centre bore than M3
The ring centres the rim on the hub. 
E39 = 74mm M3 = 72.5mm I don't think it's a very good idea to keep it without the ring. What type of wheels have you got? BMW or aftermarket? BBS rims are fitted with different rings. ------------- E61 520d, slow and buzzy but my wallet likes the mpg..... |

| make sure you use the rings, the centre part of the hub contacts the centre of the wheel and is load bearing, also makes sure you have the wheel on precisly centre. |

Uwe they are the standard E39 M5 alloys. I wont fit them until I sort the rings out. Have sent millions of emails asking everyman and his dog if they do them. Keep you posted Chris |

Getting really annoyed now. Tried everyone and all they are saying is go to the stealers. Phone 3 stealers and they all say either no idea or you can only get them if you buy a set of wheels from AC Schnitzer. Does anyone have a part number please and I may be able to get them dircect from Schnitzer. Chris |
