I have a 1999 530d saloon.  It has Sierra Red cloth seats.  Retro fitting seat heating in an E34 was easy - just insert BMW heater pads under the upholstery.  It does not seem to be the same with the E39.  Does any one supply heater pads for the E39.  I do not want to replace the seat covers.  Help please.
