I forgot to announce it recently but the forum passed its 3rd birthday last Monday (9th October). The http://bavarian-board.co.uk/forum_posts.asp?TID=2 - earliest surviving post was by Howard (as admin).
Over 300,000 posts in over 30,000 threads later the forum is still dong quite well despite everything it has gone through. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the forum to make it what it is.
In the early days there was a only handful of posts each day with no community spirit worth speaking of. However, it picked up over time and is now a fairly dominant forum in this corner of the world.
Anyhow happy birthday!

Takes a strong bunch of people to keep a forum going, especially in recent weeks and months. Its been a pleasure and an honour to be a part of this family.

Long may this family thrive, grow and continue with Killian and the team at the helm

Well done Killian..

I seem to have reached the 1000 post milestone.. I don't know if that is good or bad!

..anyway,
there seems to be a lot of absentees nowadays.. are folks unaware of our new site and/or are some of them using different names?
