I am going to get some clear lenses with chrome bulbs to replace the front and side indicators.

Having seen other Nogaro silver cars with them I think they are well suited.

I have seen that you can get either clear or crystal lenses (forget smoked ones). Which is best/ least chavvy of the two because I haven't seen them next to each other to compare.

Opinions please.

Kevin

To be honest I think orange looks good on the M3, never changed mine but did change them on the 320is, thought they made that look a bit old and dated, wierd.

If you do go clear i'd stick with normal clear as the crystal ones look a too modern and a bit chavy , plus the crystal clear indicators dont match the normal headlight, you know, with the glass cut instead of the reflector.

Clear! but not the crystal ones as all the new cars have. Unless you upgrade the headlights as well.

Definitely clear, the crystal clear ones are chav, and don't suit the E30 M3. Smoked looks good on darker colours.

Yep - still for sale (Thanks for the plug  )

These are not just lenses, but a pair of complete Front Indicators for an E30 M3, and come complete with chrome/orange lenses.

Also available are a pair of clear side indicators - again with chrome/orange bulbs. These are 'normal' E30, not the specfic M3 type, but have been known to have been [incorrectly] fitted to M3's - like mine!

Roll up, roll up .................

Andy, yes IMHO they do look good on Nogaro or Lachs as they seem to blend in better with those colour shades, rather than stand out.

They should be on soon after a deal done with thepits.

Will be good to see you again, hopefully we'll get some more articles in the club mag and maybe get a bit more support - although I have a feeling it's going to be a struggle

Maybe if we can get Andy's M3 with yours and if slarty brings his red e30 M3 we could have quite a collection

Paddy,

Ebay would be the place to go, or you can check out http://www.bmtown.com - www.bmtown.com or http://www.cooksferry.com - www.cooksferry.com as they will be able to sort you out

Slarty,

She still looks good mate!

I know what you mean about shift work Andy, we still have our meets even though they have been dwindling down as of late (only 3 cars last time). We are putting our heads together for more things to organise for next year, they will be posted in the EA forum (both forums) and I haven't given up yet! I hope if the next article or two I put in the mag help us to get some more peoples view on what we can do it will help us
