What's the scoop on this Pete? Would Polished Bliss be able to do a full detail on the day? Or are they just there for advice / demoing techniques?

They shouldn't have been bemused - it's well known the later M cars really dislike RRs due to all the electrickery.

There a bit of a mix up in the order for the Rolling Road and folk that were there early never formed the Que as good as they could of and others wanted first as they had been here first Words were exchanged but this owner got his car done then left (is this you??) |
I can imagine the scene..people bickering about who was first and someone came along saw what was going on, and jumped the queue.

Were there any electronic issues on the day?

No! Guy put a torque wrench handle down each of the holes where the bonnet pins go ........ and hey presto!!! My main concern was the paintwork! as you can see by Bluebros pic, they strapped the car down with one strap run from one side through the inside of the car and out the other! The guy said he felt he would have got 340 if hed done another run - basically down to the smg gearbox and him not having used it before.
Good pic Bluebro!

How would the manual differ from the SMG? You would assume that the SMG gadgetry would be more complicated to get round.
